Catching Up

This weekend I went to my first

BYU sporting event for this semester.

HOCKEY!

the basketball game against San Diego

so long, I've been busy! They are out

It is true, I am in Utah now going to school. This

went hiking and it was so beautiful! Not only

These last 2 were of Christmas morning.

UTAH

We went to Utah for conference a couple weekends ago.

We stayed in Provo and enjoyed the weather,

conference, the colors of the changing leaves and

trees, ALL the boys' missions reunions, Willi,

eating...alot, and just getting away from AZ

for the weekend! These pictures are in opposite

order in which the events occured so this is starting from

the end of the trip....

On the way home we stopped in Vegas for about an hour and

decided to do some slot machines for fun since

none of us had every tried before! I can see how people get

addicted..within about 30 seconds and $.02 later Benjamin won

like $6.00! I said "Ben give me a dollar, now!"

I was hooked and should not go back....ha but it

was still way fun.

Labor Day Weekend

This labor day weekend myself and a few friends

went to the Moffitt brother's family's

land in Greer, AZ. I dont know why they have never taken us

before. It was great! It was so pretty, the weather was

beautiful..all in all it rocked. Here are a few pictures

Kat, Jaime and I went to Payson a couple weekends ago for a day away.

It was soooo pleasing.

Basically all we did was shop at cool old shops,

ate at the Bee Line Cafe (recommended by the locals),

sat and watched children play in the flooded playground

(sounds creepy but it was normal, I promise),

chased down the ice cream man with the children,

and slept in a park while just enjoying the weather.

Perfect.

Something funny did happen...

While watching the little ones get sand in the pants (ew)

We noticed something that was out of the ordinary...

That's right, random Goth couple loving each other

in the most unfit setting. Random!

But then...we kept finding them in the most random

locations doing the same thing. Whaa?? Who does this?

Katelyn's sister (and pretty much like one to me)

got married this week! Im so lucky

I got to spend the day with the Burentt

family. They rock. This was one of the

funnest weddings I've been to. Loved it.

This is my date Jon (Heather's husband) for the

day. Heather was part of the wedding party

so we stuck together most the time.

Another order of business...It was Joseph's

18 brithday! Whaaaa..I cant believe

my little brother is 18 and graduating

high school. weird. So we went to

Outback and ate. It was legit. My family is

wayy too funny. We were in tears laughing the

entire time. Jospeh even had to use a napkin

to wipe his tears.

I can always count on my Dad to be the only one laughing

at me and my jokes. He's my support team :) He

thinks I'm hilarious. And I am.

Mom's Day

Kimberly, Kat and I decided to take a mini

road to go to the

Gila Valley Temple open house. It was so amazing! I couldn't

believe how beautiful

and nice it was inside! I can't wait to go through the temple on day :)

We had quite a little adventure that day....

First, got pulled over for speeding. Got out of the ticket because Kim

and I worked our magic. The comments went as follows:

Kim: I love your camo bandaid!" ( the office was indeed

wearing a camo bandaid on his finger)

Me: "What bandaid? I cant even see it!"

Good thing I've got my humor going for me :)

We met up with Jared who lives in Thatcher in a she currently

and we ate at a Mexican food resaurant. Then he took

us to the cutest snow cone stand for some

awesome snow cones. I ate WAY too much.

I got to go to New York for Christmas this year with the Burnett family. It was so amazing and so FREEZING. There was a blizzard the first night we got there! Here are some pictures (in no particular order) so you can feel like you were right there with me!

Well my blogger friends I have been quite busy! First of all, I went to Colorado to visit my sister amanda for a couple days (no pictures from that yet) Then off to New Jersey to visit sis Cassie and the boys. While there we went to NY, PA (lancaster, hershey, and big Phili) I had so much fun! Then I got home, aside from being so busy with school and work, went to the midnight showing of my long awaited movie Twilight!! It was one of the highlights of my life, yes im a freak. I had so much from hanging out with my best girlies there. Oh ya, i saw it again at 3pm the same day...Finally, I took my papa skydiving for his 45th B-day yesterday! He had the time of his life! Thats my life update!

Okay, it has been forever I know. BUT I got the honor to go to the SYTYCD top ten tour the other night! It was M-azing! I went with my Katelyn and Ben (ha I love boys that love SYTYCD). After the totally awesome show, and an hour and a half of waiting, we got to meet all the dancers and take pictures with them and talk to them! Suprisingly they were all soo extremely nice. It was a def. highlight of my year, next to skydiving!

You can tell the ones I dont really like that much (Katee and Thayne) I made funny faces in cause I didnt care. But I do love Mark, we just decided to make an ugly face. Ha he was that coolest one. Oh and ya, I got to wear Will's hat :) it was sweaty and gross ha.

Well since Sunday is father's day I decided to pay a tribute to my papa! He is the funniest man i have ever met and I'm so happy he is my dad. For example, just tonight i pull up at about 12 am and my dad is sitting in his car listening to Toby Keith so loud. Then as Im getting ready for bed he asks if I would like a refreshment and he brings me a whiskey glass with grape juice in it and we have a drink (Relate to the 2 pictures below). To end the night we sit and watch a Marilyn Manroe movie and he comments about her and Clark Gable every 30 seconds. I have never met a man that has so much knowlege in music and movies! Thats just one night..imagine the last 19 years! ha....I have to coolest dad. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

A Good Read

So I recently just finished reading the book Twilight. Well I started it at the end of last year but got too busy with school so I never finished it. So I decided to start over and I read it in less than 3 days. I am officially in the "Im addicted to the Twilight series books" (Heather and Katelyn, I have now joined you guys ha) Dont worry, I have the 2 other books all ready for me to start on. If anyone has not read Twilight I highly recommend it! Plus, anyone that has read it knows that its impossible not to fall in love with Edward! The movie comes out December 12th woo!

The other day Katelyn and I really wanted to go on a bike ride because the weather was so nice! Little did we know we went get soaked from the sudden down pour. We didn't mind though, we love rain! It was so fun though, we are crazy. Quote my Spencer Parker as we rode by his house "You girls are gonna get pneumonia!" ha he was so concerned... (thanks for the pics Katie B!)

Well, I am finally done with my first year of college in Utah which means that I am back in Arizona! It was kind of sad packing up my entire apartment and leaving it knowing that I will never be back there. Come on, thats been my home for the last year! Leaving good friends was a bummer but I'm excited to start a new adventure here in Arizona, my real home. These are pictures of willi and my last memories in our apartment...and yes, i cut 8 inches off my hair!
